"But where do we actually do this though?"
In socializing the concept of a community and a community house that supports co-living and co-parenting, it's become clear that part of what makes this a hard thing to accomplish is the access to the "right" physical home.
- Parents of young humans often use their kitchen as an extension of their body, and need to be able to use it reliably at any hour of the day.
- They want a space that feels spiritually whole.
- They want other people to live with who share enough of their own values, such that co-parenting feels naturally aligned, rather than like a struggle of diverging values.
It feels natural to allow Mommunity House to help connect homes and families. For now, we'll do this within the Discord itself. In the future, we aim to host actual listings directly on this site.
AND, since Mommunity House is actively searching for the "right" place to call a pilot home, we have a personal interest in growing this community and sharing resources abundantly.
We can do hard things, if we do them together.
